Cashara are a fashion boutique specialising in beautiful Italian cashmere and silk clothing. My brief was to photograph their new collection for display on their website, as well as for large scale wall prints for the boutique.
The shoot took place at a country mansion, near Sevenoaks in Kent, which suited the elegant look of the brand. I provided hair and makeup stylists and used medium format cameras to achieve a high technical quality for the prints.
Gio Stockings are a long established manufacturer of fully fashioned stockings and use traditional machines and techniques to achieve an authentic and original look.
They are one of the few hosiery manufacturers still working in this traditional way and wanted a set of images to reflect the classic nature of their products for a new re-brand.
I organised the two-day shoot, sourcing a country house location in Kent, a model from a London agency and the hair and makeup stylists.
The brief included lifestyle fashion shots for advertising and editorials, which we did at the mansion and a set of product pack shots, which we did at my studio in Kent. The re-brand was a great success and the images are in use online and in print.
Morris Richardson are the Nottingham-based creators of a range of British-inspired watches. The straps use a combination of leather and Harris Tweed to strike a balance between traditional and contemporary. The brief was to create a set of images to reflect this new country lifestyle fashion brand, for use on their website and social media. We went for a country house location in Nottinghamshire for the elegant interiors, architecturally striking exteriors and woodland.
We had a long list of shots to fit into one day so I put together a tight shoot plan.
With no access to power, I used a portable lighting system to give us studio-grade lighting. The weather behaved, we got every shot and the resulting images are now doing their job in bringing the Morris Richardson brand to life.
